We wouldn't know until she looks back.

A couple of months ago, just before the summer began, I happened to see a TV program about sex-related crimes that are often committed in summer. It was saying that it is effective if you often look back when you walk along a deserted road or path.

Someone said, whenever he sees a signboard saying “Beware of Molesters,” he has a hard time restraining himself from adding “You will be OK” to the signboard.

Another friend said he would want to say to a woman who comes out of an esthetic clinic: it seems to be a waste of money.

Going back to the TV program above, the idea that looking back often is effective may be very likely. We wouldn’t know about it until she looks back.
